Celebrating 25 Years!

Celebrate with Us! The year 2016 marks 25 years of service to the donor community. As we look back in appreciation to all those with whom we have been privileged to share extraordinary experiences, we are also looking forward to continuing to branch out and expand our services and knowledge to meet the needs of the future. To celebrate, we have planned a year of special activities and free services for our donor clients and agency partners. As the year progresses, we will tell you about these exciting events and opportunities. To begin with, we have a gift for our current and past donor and foundation clients to share with someone else of their choosing -- two hours of free consulting for a friend, family member or foundation who has questions about philanthropy and giving strategies. We feel our colorful and vibrant new identity exemplifies our approach to philanthropy. Our revitalized website will regularly offer more updated content and useful information for funders/donors including current issues, trends in philanthropy, and “how-to’s.” Subscribe to our blog and newsletter for new articles. Finally, we want to introduce you to our newest associate, April Walker. When we met April, we knew right away that she would be an excellent addition to the IKA team. April comes to us from the VNA Foundation and some important agencies – Boys and Girls Clubs of Chicago, American Heart Association and George Washington University. In the spring, April will complete coursework to receive her master’s degree from the School of Social Service Administration at the University of Chicago. Knowledgeable about communities, strategic program planning, nonprofits and philanthropic giving, April is sure to bring a fresh perspective and many new ideas to our knowledge base.
