One of Iris Krieg & Associate’s two divisions, Consultation, utilizes our
expertise to solve a problem, conduct studies and evaluations, and assist in
the planning and implementation of a task or an initiative. We can investigate
potential funding areas and provide criteria to help donors, trustees and staff
select an approach that fits their interests. We have broad experience both in
the processes of contributions and in many issue areas, including human
services, arts/culture, environmental concerns, public education and public
housing.
We are particularly effective in situations where participants differ in their
approaches and values. We provide opportunities to air differences, explore
options and find common ground.
IKA works closely with clients to define the Consultation, develop a work plan,
set a time frame and specify outcomes and products. Among the Consultations
that IKA offers are:
-
Exploring and recommending issues to fund
-
Developing procedures for a new contributions program
-
Revising an existing contributions program
-

-
Evaluating individual agencies, grants programs, foundation procedures and
special initiatives
-
Conducting feasibility studies
-
Creating planning processes
-
Planning and facilitating trustee/board/staff retreats
-
